20170515 - HDMI/DP Mode Reference


Data pulled only from Wikipedia, combined with some quick spreedsheet work, so might not be 100% accurate (didn't manually verify everything works). Used a 1.08x scalar to ball-park CVT-R2 timing (not shown) to estimate full bandwidth. This covers limits with 4:4:4, meaning no chroma sub-sampling (as that is not acceptable for PC displays). This covers 8-bit/pixel (aka 24-bit) and 10-bit/pixel (aka 30-bit) output. This covers what is possible under the standard {30,60,120,144,240} Hz refresh rates.
